HardiePlank®: Ray of Sunshine for Walton-on-the-Naze

When London Green Developments wanted the latest trend in facade cladding for a new development of town houses in Essex, they didn’t look much further than HardiePlank® cladding to provide a durable and visually impactful finish.

Being that ‘The Beach Houses’ were situated at a popular beachfront location, a selection of colourful cladding finishes were chosen to complement the seaside location and the unique style of the development.

A mixture of woodland cream, arctic white, booth bay blue and heathered moss colours were used.

‘We were looking for a modern and fresh alternative to brick or render treatment’ comments Philip Green, Director at London Green Developments.

‘HardiePlank cladding not only met the aesthetic criteria but as the houses are in close proximity to the sea, it will also provide excellent protection from the harsh elements.’

Philip also adds ‘HardiePlank weatherboard provided a fantastic finish to the houses. The response from local people and potential homeowners has been uniformly positive. The James Hardie team was also extremely helpful and we hope to work with them again in the future.’
