Hardie® Plank: Follaton Oak, Totnes

New build development of 4 and 5 bedroom homes at Follaton Oaks, located to the west of Totnes town centre. Using mixed materials in stone, Hardie® Plank fibre cement cladding and render.

The contemporary design, led by Thrive Architects, focused on sustainable features in keeping with the town's transition initiative. The buildings orientated north/soth to benefit from passive solar gain and first floor living rooms with full height openings to take advantage of the views from the hill. 

Hardie® Plank cladding in cedar texture was chosen as a sustainable and low maintenance substitute to wood.
