Situated in a small village close to the south coast, the house also needed to stand up to the elements using robust materials capable of withstanding sea breezes and saltwater.
The improvements included adding a second storey plus side extension to improve the living accommodation whilst also creating an architecturally unique property filled with character. HardiePlank® weatherboard
in light mist, cedar texture was used as an accent across the facade.
As first time specifiers of the product, Stride & Garrett spent time researching the features and benefits of fibre cement, and felt HardiePlank® weatherboard offered the best design solution.
